I'm trying to distract myself, as I'm in NO shape to go to my squirrels, and my lens is clearly broken!

So, as it is commonly said, I dug into the archives and decided to share these. As I was rounding the corner near the clubhouse, I spotted a squirrel sitting casually on the deck chair and another behind. Ready to take the shot, they both quickly scampered away. Annoyed, I chastised them both when I saw this Dove casually posing. Staring at me, the Dove seemed to be saying as he posed: So what am I chopped liver here? Admit, bit strange as I have found Doves to be a bit flighty. Perhaps this one wanted to show the squirrels up!

So here they are. This Dove seemed to have a bit of personality and was an excellent model. The background color may not be perfect, as I still have to figure it out. While the brain is better, the pain level isn't so good, so patience is minimal!

Hope you enjoy!

Yeah, I remember. I hope you had a fantastic trip. Thanks for asking. The details are in my posts Note from Trendy. In a nutshell, on Tuesday, while walking over to do some photography on the other side of my complex, I was hit and thrown by a small industrial-sized truck. Yesterday, the pain was intense, but I am feeling some improvement today.

Glad to hear you are back!

Nicely done, Barb. Very good focus, # one could use a bit of fill light, but they are all nice. Doves are always a photogenic subject!

Thanks, appreciate the specific feedback. The lighting was driving me crazy! Topaz isn't calibrated still with my PC, and consequently, their recommendations often don't seem right. The brain isn't up to the challenge to correct that issue!
