It certainly didn't feel like love and thanks for joining in. I agree with (2) and (3).

Guess your UHH vacation has ended? Sadly, far too soon.

You'll get better help by watching some video training specific to the LR Export dialog. Five minutes of video training will likely save you hours of frustration and / or guessing at the meaning of vague questions.

Background: I have been a Canon user since you were in diapers

How can you be such a cheerleader for Canon when you own/use a Sony camera... does your Canon 5DIII let you down in some way?

The EOS 53Diii is / was one of the best DSLRs ever released, exemplified by the success in the market and my ongoing photography with this 22MP sensor.

The Sony filled a need for a platform for adapted FD manual focus lenses, before Canon entered the full-frame MILC market.

My newest digital camera dates back to 2018, where I maintain most cameras are as good as ever needed when the reached the 20+ MP threshold.

Maybe space for a 5.25 disk too? Or, an ashtray for the cigars & cigarettes?

You continue to amaze me!

Alas, when you turn to page 51 of the applicable PDF, you see the two relevant D7100 dials are pictured in the diagram above, but not labeled in that diagram. Rather, the diagrams that refer to the Sub-command dial (body front) or the Main Command dial (body rear) are needed and explained on pages 51-53.

The Mirrorless Data is Clear: Canon is #1

MELVILLE, NY, February 8, 2024 –
Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions is proud to announce they have solidified the #1 mirrorless camera brand position for a third year in a row in 2023 and was the #1 mirrorless camera brand in the U.S. in 2023.

Since the introduction of the EOS R system, Canon has continued its innovative product developments with cameras such as the EOS R6 Mark II, EOS R5 C, EOS R5 and EOS R8. The robust rolodex of cameras has options for the professional photographer on the sidelines of world-class sporting events, to portrait or wedding photographers looking to capture a moment of a lifetime and the family photographer who is documenting the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Canon mirrorless cameras have a place in the gear bags of any visual storyteller looking for high-quality images and video.

“The needs of our customers have always been at the forefront of our business at Canon and it’s why we have worked so hard to maintain a number one position within the industry,” said Brian Mahar, senior vice president and general manager, Imaging Technologies & Communications Group. “I am proud of our team for not only achieving this great success, but for also empowering our visual storytellers.”

“Canon mirrorless cameras have impacted my business’s bottom line as well as my client experience. With the advancement of technology, I’m able to concentrate more on client interaction and higher quality production. I’ve seen an enhancement in my photography, my profit and client satisfaction.” Vanessa Joy, Canon Explorer of Light and award-winning wedding and brand photographer

Oops. If less than a year and you purchased new, try calling Canon and see if the body is still under warranty.

My wife has an Apple iPhone 14 and it is incredible for photos. She is not technical, but has a good eye, and sense of balance and design in her photos. She never has to edit and never prints, although the quality is there, she is more interested in posting her adventures online with her friends and family. I have a number of quality cameras she could use but prefers to have her phone in her purse or pocket instead of an heavy weight around the neck. . It doesn’t hurt that she takes me places where we can stand in frond of interesting stuff.

National Camera Exchange (NCE) in Golden Valley, MN is only about 5 miles from my house. They are a reputable store. Have rented and bought camera and lenses from them. Would buy more from them but since B&H w/PayBoo pays sales tax I use them instead of NCE. If B&H didn’t exist I’d go to NCE.

The thread OP -- tkgraves -- last participated on UHH in October 2021. Are you responding to them or Randad, who responded with essentially the same thought over a 3-year period?

They could care less! Sony already has the A9lll, with its global shutter, and Nikonians seem very happy with the Z8&9. It is Canon who is catching up!

Canon maintains a 2024 global market share larger than Nikon and Sony combined.
