You posted that you were "moving on" on 5/17 14:25...and you're still here???

Have you noticed, MY THREAD? Pay ATTENTION. If you want to go further into this then it will have to be in The Attic where these things are generally discussed.

My post was not directed to you so I suppose "I" could ask...why are you responding to me? Quite honestly, I have little interest in firearm skills but I guess you couldn't pick up on sarcasm. In reply to your question, I served in the US Army as an Artillery Surveyor and pinpointed the coordinates to a target the hard way (with math and a Theodolite) before GPS came about.

With regard to moving on, I believe Dennis said he was but didn't so I also elected to re-engage. I just didn't think I needed your permission.

As you probably don't know any thread can be answered by anybody else here. Any post in any thread of course likewise. You addressed this to the Chief but you see I am answering because I have a comment regarding your comment as well. He may or may not be back himself.

Trust me on this, you do not have to do things because I might do them. You are expected to make your own decisions in life without any permission or acknowledgement from me. Now at this point I will depart from talking to you but will be around since this is my thread.

A wonderful trio
If I tried to do gardening while wearing my Nikon D7100 and Sigma C 150-600mm, my face would be making furrows in the soil

Thank you very much for your colorful comment. I don’t usually wear the camera while gardening/weeding. I was looking to photograph something and started weeding when these showed up.

Shooting there must really be productive and fun, Dennis Beautiful results for sure

Thank you very much Joe. For a couple of days we had nice weather, warm days and no wind. It was beautiful. Then the weather of the last three weeks kicked back in. More like wind blown March with January cold thrown in for good measure. I don’t think this is Kansas Toto.

That response shows that you know NOTHING about "firearms skills"! I AM truly impressed!
What did you do to "serve" your country? I did twenty plus years in the Navy. Many of those on board a large collection of Aircraft Carriers. And why have you not moved on?

Good point Chief. Wasn’t he going to really BE KIND and move on?

I also served my country. It was the only time I ever felt the need for a rifle.

Yes many of us served our country and are proud of it. Thank you for your service. But here's a clue. I was well into shooting rifles and the occasional handgun before I joined the USMC at 17. I was routinely hitting woodchucks across a grassy meadow out to 300 yards before joining up. The two week range instruction and qualification would never have given me the skills to tie the Parris Island record of 249 out of 250 without my previous shooting experience. That would be shooting out to 600 yards with iron sights.

Me to! Even in the Military when semiannual qualifying was the rule of the day!!

As a LEO firearms training officer I was doing shotgun qualifications at the range. My supervisor, a Lieutenant came to qualify. When I instructed the group to load their Remington 870 shotguns he raised his hand and said he had a problem. When I went to check he had tried to load the shotgun with the shot shell turned the wrong way, with the shot side pointing toward the shooter in the magazine. I needed to disassemble the gun to get the shell out of the gun and then taught him AGAIN how to properly load the weapon.

There are other cases but I will hold those for a later time.

OMG!!!!! No S**T. Did someone say he was Trump? Where did you ever get that idea little denny? Apparently you are one of those who suffers real problems knowing who is who in the political arena. I do give you credit though for recognizing Trump and Biden are not the same person. Bully for you as TR used to say.

Thank you very much Joe. I knew the Cormorants had brilliant eyes but had not gotten so close to one that I can recall. They are lovely.

I agree! Properly trained and supervised "children", maybe ten and up!

I can go along with 10 but have always gone along with the thinking of every child being judged on their personal level of maturity. I have known children 6 years old who were mature enough to shoot a firearm WITH CLOSE SUPERVISION but have also known and trained adults who I would never want to be around even under close supervision.

It amazes me that the folks speaking out against Trump, accusing him of things that the Left are doing currently. How can we be seeing things so differently when they are right in front of our face? Prices are so much higher now than when Trump was in office. I just don't get it. And I'm not some blind sheep. I do my research and have very meaningful conversations with people on the left. But you L*****ts here, attacking Dennis, are out of this world. And I won't even go into Kraken, who really has no say since he's not eve in this country. Instead of yelling, show me something that would make me even remotely want to v**e for Biden.

Gracias Amigo. Much appreciated. I don't think you have spent much time here in The Attic. You will find it is not a normal place for discussions. As you have seen you can present as much common sense as you like, point out facts until the cows come home and YET the Left will still tell us Biden is doing a great job, his administration is doing a great job and not one of them ever screws up. Biden never screwed up with regard to the Chinese spy balloon flying across America getting all the information it needed. Buttigieg never screwed up with regard to the shipping crisis when ships could not unload cargo at shipping ports, the interest rate was about 3% but is not upwards of 7% due to Biden's financial genius in the administration.

little krackhead, lil davey, lil tex from down under are all ADMITTED Trolls here. No matter what you say in answer to their comments they will never agree, will never discuss, never do anything but stay right there under their bridge doing everything they can to be against you. You will notice I seldom even reply to their comments as it does no good, is just a waste of time.

The Left especially here in The Attic is the opposite of what we think of as black and white decisions. They support anti American behavior, support Iran, support China making Biden look like a dumb ass, of course that isn't hard to do, support d******e behavior such as being anti police while supporting violent criminals, support perversion in our schools, support pushing L***Q behavior down our throats, support r**ts by B*M and A****a and so on. In short, they are not like us.
