Your corn shots really caught my eye, Joe. A great presentation of vegetables.

Over twenty years ago, and I still vividly remember how excruciatingly cold it was on the hill where the seller had set up about fifty feet of tables πŸ₯ΆπŸ₯ΆπŸ₯ΆπŸ₯Ά

They had to be freezing to death on the day I took the self-guided tour of the 19th Century homestead back in 2003. Windchills were at least 20 that day

Had a self-guided tour of the beautiful mid-1800s style farm, and near the parking lot was all the fresh seasonal produce anyone could ask for. The wind was howling atop the hill where everything was stationed, and I spend about 45 minutes, freezing, taking pictures, and chewing the far with the interesting character selling these items. He also owned a peacock farm

Cold and a howling wind on the hill where this was set up, 2003.

The seller was wearing a raccoon hat and a heavy arctic coat

I got to wondering today about what I would get if I used no filter at all on my full spectrum camera. The result kind of surprised me.

The first image is the one straight out of the camera. The sky is trending toward purple and the leaves a dull orangish red.

But Lightroom has a fabulous recently new tool in the Point Color Tool. With that tool, I set out to fix the sky. Has an eyedropper to sample the sky and then allows adjustments to that sky. In the Blue Sky Adjustments, note that the small circles are where the original setting were at. And the large circles are where I drug it to. The bigger box on the left side represents Hue Shift (horizontal movement) and Saturation Shift (vertical movement). And the box on the right side is just Luminosity Shift (vertical movement). I just then started at the small circles and dragged the larger circles to a place I liked. Notice also that there are three sliders that the range of these movements. I did not make any changes to the ranges.

The second box is the one where I picked the color of the leaves and decided to turn them into a more pleasing color.

And this in turn generated the resultant final image result as shown. If you use Lightroom, and haven't yet discovered the Point Color Tool, it's a good one to learn. It came out last year, I forgot which revision.

I sure love the results

As I was finishing up in the back with my one group of squirrels, as I approached the front, I saw a squirrel munching casually on one of the nuts I had earlier left. Expecting him to scamper off, I guess he was in the mood to mug for the camera, and so he did!

Color on the computer is still driving me nuts, so I apologize for some inconsistency. Still working on it!

For the squirrel lovers, I hope you enjoy his show!
