I have also had excellent experience with Backblaze. I experienced a hard drive failure and restored everything successfully. I might point out that if I shut down my computer and go on vacation, after a few days a start receiving emails from Backblaze to alert me that no backup has been made for x days. It is a great company.

I am tired of bumping into people who stop suddenly to take a selfie. Such a narcissistic generation!

One might also ask why there are more used Toyotas for sale than Suzukis. It is because there are far more of them.

The San Blas Islands, on the Caribbean side of Panama and east of Colon, form a semi-autonomous area of Panama inhabited by indigenous natives called the Guna (pronounced more like "kina"). A passport is needed to enter the Guna Yala, as this area is called. It extends over 100 miles along the coast of Panama. Most of the population is much farther to the east, but the western-most part of this area includes islands that are used solely for tourism. It is one of the favorite day-trips from Panama City, but it is a whole day, not suitable for the cruise ship crowd.

The first time we went, the road from the south (Pacific) side of the continental divide to the north (Caribbean) side was unpaved and bad. The only vehicles allowed to enter are those from licensed tour operators and all of their vehicles were well-equipped 4WDs. We went again two weeks ago, and the road is paved all the way to the area of the four harbors on the Caribbean.

Once one arrives at the harbor, one boards a boat that spends about 40 minutes getting out to one of the islands. The water is pristine, the views amazing and the swimming wonderful. I left my big camera at home and used my mobile phone. Here are just a few photos from that trip:

Many executive producers are leading actors in the same project. Simply stated, through their role as EPs, they are paid some amount of money I would term as "above the line," as a cost of production, before all percentage-based compensation is calculated.

When faced with a hardware upgrade a couple of years ago, I concluded that in the PC world, a high-end gaming computer most closely fits the requirements for robust post-processing work. I did not consider a Mac simply because I had come from the legal world prior to retirement and was not interested in changing platforms.

I have a VPN on my iPad and have chosen a server in Las Vegas, so I get ads intended for Nevada residents all the time. I got this ad at the bottom of a Fox Business article. I could not select that alone so I took a photo with my phone to share.

So many questions: From what port in Nevada do these ships sail? Is that why they are empty and dirt cheap?
Why seniors? Does this sound as stupid as all of the Nigerian prince/banker scams? And why from a company called "Outbrain"? Did the company that paid for this ad really get its money's worth?
