There is no evidence for deities. And the "christ" myth appears in more than one ancient religion. The PR was better for Christians, that's all. Oh and Constantine, who thought it was a good idea.
Without Constantine it is posited that christianity would have ended up another obscure Jewish sect.
I long for the days when the practice of religion is looked on as a quaint hobby, like stamp collecting or train spotting.

To make the statement that there is no evidence (please note I said EVIDENCE not PROOF) to support Christianity or a God is just ignorance. Now the ignorance can come in two forms 1) One just hasnt done the research or studied the issue. Generally these folks just take the word of their favorite whatever and move on. 2) One sees the evidence but it doesnt support what they want to believe so they choose to invalidate it.
