Sent to me by fellow UHHer Widetracker. Thanks Bob.

Cheetahs are very docile animals compared with other predators. They don't have retractable claws like members of the cat family.

I would assume that she was well protected by whoever was filming her. :-D

Or very knowledgeable in Cheetah behavior. I've seen other videos of people interacting with cheetahs even taking food away from a cheetah and it's fresh kill.

Pretty obviously at a cheetah preserve. Never see so many of them congregated in the wild.

She was confident and knew the behaviours though!!!!

As I recall she worked as a conservationist. In my years of hunting in Africa I rarely saw more than four at a time and that was usually a female with cubs.

If this was on a reserve I believe that the cats are more docile than in the wild. But it is still pretty remarkable.

Did you do some hunting in Africa? If you did that must have been pretty exciting. Which animals did you hunt. Do you have any pictures? Could you share them with us?

Thanks for the post.

Nice video!
Cheetahs are very fast, but relatively weak as big cats go. They will give way to pretty much any perceived threat.
While a human poses little threat, a group of humans will be seen as a threat. Here we have the woman, a cameraman, a soundman, and at least one director/producer, and possibly more. To a cheetah, that's a lot of people.
