Love number 2 in or out of frame, it's nice, I think.

A late addition, which I just ran across looking for something else. I cropped this quite a bit.

Were you using shutter priority? (Eeyore is not cuter ha) I try to shoot the smoke against a dark background. You can see it better with the contrast...

Welcome to Day 43 :)
Today let's focus on Motion. It can be either camera motion or subject motion, long

I took these a few months ago...It was a particurally windy day on Superior. Initally my focus was on this bush that each branch was frozen and beautiful... THen I started to capture the waves, splash and mist that followed.

LOVE the shoreline pics!!

Yea, it's pretty tricky to shoot in the dark. I haven't tried shooting smoke in the dark yet. I'm sure it's challenging. Now, you have me curious. I will have to try that...

Thank you, krash. I was down by the river and the wind was whipping and it was bitterly cold. My hair kept flying in front of my face and half the time I couldn't even see what I was doing. I got a lot of bad pictures that day. A few came out OK :-)

I didn't do so well trying to get anything today. Went to church. Had a valentines dinner afterwards. Went to Walmart to get an oil change and wipers changed. So here it is.

I think I have a photo of that waterfall taken in the 1920s or 30s (B&W, of course)! Great shot. pg 11
