How many photos will a 2GB card hold?
Depends on a lot of things, the megapixel count of your camera, what file format you are using: if you're shooting Raw, Raw + jpeg, jpeg only (and which resolution setting and compression level you have it set for) even WHAT you shoot will change the count.

Thank you, that website answered my question.
I never push the limit. I figure that's just asking for trouble. It's still a mystery to me how so many 1's and 0's can be put onto a tiny card and produce beautiful images.

It will hold about 10 on my camera.
Thanks for the info and the welcome. We went to Ventura for Easter weekend. I wanted to make I had space on my card to shoot everything I wanted to. I did -even a shy whale.

A 16G byte card on my Canon EOS 50D will give me about 750 images and the EOS 5D Mk II will give me about 550 to 600 images shooting in raw format.
How many pancakes can you make with a box of pancake mix? Depends on how much you thinned the batter, how wide the pancakes, and how thick the pancakes. There is no single answer.
