This has a gel on the background lights. See what you think of this shot. There is also a red gel on a light camera left on Emmy. Thank you.

Tom

The download should be lighter than what is showing here on the UHH thread.

I think this shot works very well with your choice of gels, it really draws you to the model and holds you there. Very nicely done.

Bret,

Hey, thanks my friend. Where did you get to have a shoot or shoots with Emmy?

I often wonder where she came up with Elle for her last name (stage name)? That is not her real last name, which I'm sure you know.

And yes, she is a fantastic model to work with, and seems to know her poses, and also does a great job with her makeup . . . a very talented lady!

Greg,

I like the purple gel for the background as well. The whole idea was to match the gel with the color of her eye liner, eye shadow, lipstick and nails (kind of similar) etc..

She is quite the photogenic lady and extremely easy to work with during a shoot. You ask her to do a certain pose and she is usually quite willing.

Then again, she automatically poses on her own as well - like a continuos routine she performs for the camera. Her poses just seem to flow, and keeping up with her is quite interesting, fun, and there is never a dull moment! She reminded me very much of a model I shot in Las Vegas a couple years ago, She, too, was a model and makeup artist as Emmy also is. Come to think of it, another model I shot from Florida was also on the same level . . . those shoots are great!

Thanks very much for your comments, again.

Tom

I do like the colors of the backdrop in this one as well. I didn't realize that she had a face too  Very attractive woman.

Take my comments with a grain of salt. When I'm asked for boudoir shots, I send my daughter to do those. I just know that I would get myself in trouble by saying something, innocent, but inappropriate. My filter doesn't always work as fast as my mouth.

Bob,

You are amazing, and hilarious to boot! Keep it up my friend.

I am partial to this purple gelled backdrop for it seems to meld together very well with her makeup - the whole point of using that color gel . . . imagine that - Hah!

I very much enjoy your critiques as well was your wit. Fantastic reply, once again! Thanks Bob.

A group I shoot with in Newport Ky every now and then. We've had Emmy 3 or 4 times now...this past X-mas was the last one.

Hi Tom,
Beautiful model, well shot, and only one suggestion if I may - with the gels doing their thing with the lights, and the models face doing her thing with the camera and the pleasure centers of all those who look at her, I think that the background got no attention and as a result looks a tad flat. I think (I know it's unusual) that if you had added a light behind the model you would have added some depth and possibly even had a better shot.

Is life good since that phenomenal weekend shooting the street life in LasVegas a couple of years ago? Seems some of that team is pretty scarce around here recently.
