I have a number of very good condition slide trays with original boxes. Mostly 140 slides but a few 80 as well.
Wondering if anyone can use them. Free, but must pay shipping. Probably can ship 3 or 4 for $10.
I bought 8 of these slide trays at the Salvation Army a while back. Normally they were $1.00 each but I got them on one of their half-off days, so 50ยข each. They are the 80 slide trays but still a good deal, I thought.
Since you are giving them away maybe the Salvation Army, Goodwill or some other thrift store would be a good idea.
Isn't it remarkable what an expensive commodity these once were! And now we want to give them away. I've got stacks of them, most still loaded with slides.

Same here. And I have all of my father's as well. And remember the Bell & Howell slide cubes ??
I also have stacks and hate to "recycle them" If I take the metal part off my town will take them to recycle. Looks like no one needs them so that is my next plan. I am going through the slides and scanning one or two per tray for posterity!
Thanks to the commenters for their input. If anyone DOES want some, pls PM me and we can work out shipping. This will take me some time to go through the ones that still have slides in so I expect to have some for a few months more!
These are the circular trays ?
My Projector uses the straight trays .
Thank you .

I'm thinking "Carousel" means round.

I had a dozen Argus slide trays, both 60 and 80 capacity. That's what I finally had to do after the projector crapped out - recycle them.
I do have a working Carosel projector. Keeping that and a couple of trays. Had recent need to fire it up to show some transparencies a friend wanted to screen. It was amazing how bad they looked compared to recent digital images shown with my home theater projector! No comparison!
I have a friend who uses those in a "retro-slide show". I'll ask him if he can use them! I'll reply later today!

I have many slides, but few trays. I would love to have the Kodak Carousel slide trays. I have a Carousel Projector. They would make viewing my slides much more convenient. How many trays do you have?
Terry
If you have any 80-slide trays left, write me. My friend is interested in these.
