Interesting effect when photo flashes onto almost full screen after a few seconds of blank waiting. Threatening flash of color, object loaded with points, then numerous little squiggly things that look like they crawl.
Fantastic range of textures, leaves add a lot, and then the bee adds a fine element that makes the foliage seem even more frightening in its dominant size.
Your photograph has a real feeling for the power of nature viewed close up.

If I may ask, what were your settings and which lens did you use? The yellow is bright (but uniform) with the green leaves a deeper green; were you in overhead sunlight

Lens 105mm micro. Picture was taken between 8 and 9 a.m. Where was sun I do not remember.
