Located on the Trondheim Fjord, this city dates back to the 11th century and is the 4th largest urban area in Norway. In the center of town is the Gothic Nidaros Cathedral with the Bishops Palace and a museum adjacent. 200K gets you a ticket for all three, however no photography of any kind is permitted in the Cathedral. There is a beautiful walking path down by the river which takes you to the old bridge the Gamie Bybroa which will take you to the Old Town (Bakklandet) where you can visit lovely old colorful wooden houses and stroll along cobbled street, stop for lunch , coffee , pastries, a glass of wine orange beer. Time sort of stands still there.

Neat, thanks for the tour.
Excellent set. Mahalo for the tour. Enjoyed the old buildings and glad they are restoring them especially those by the river.
Thanks for the tour. My grandfather was born in Trondheim.
My great, great grandparents were from Trondheim area. We were there about 27 years ago and their was a large commercial fishing conference going on...lots of activity. Really enjoyed visiting this town and glad we put it on our itinerary. Thanks for reigniting the memories!!
A beautiful place which you captured quite well.
