Would this have been too much?

I almost posted this first picture for this weeks MIYV. I thought it might have been too challenging with all the stuff on and around the log cabin. Let me know.
The cabin was built in the late 1800 here in Granbury Tx. It had to be torn down or moved, the city elected to move it to this temporary location as its a piece of Granbury's history. Sometime in the future they will have a permanent location for a history attraction.

Feel free to download and show us what you might have done to the picture. I spent several hours coming up with my version shown below. Decided not to remove any more of the red mesh, couldn't find enough parts to clone the rest out without looking completely fake.

Excellent result! I am happy that I did not have that to deal with this week (LOL).

Thanks Mike. It was a lot of cloning & blending.

Thank You Dave. On of the last steps was to change color from warm to the teal blue at the last minute to setting the mood.

The second one would work perfectly for a supernatural background but I really like the first one.

Nice job on getting rid of the netting in the front.

Here is my attempt. Spent quite a bit of time on the red mesh removal.

Very interesting aproach. Did a good job on the mesh. Much lighter mood with all the colorful wild flowers. 👍

I like your moody version, Jim-Pops. Looks like if you got much closer, you could be staring down the barrels of a shotgun! I just read Jojo Moyes' book, The Giver of Stars, and this image could well illustrate the life in Appalachia, 1937.

Thanks again Erich. I think I'm going to make a print and show it to the old jail museum people that are located next to the log cabin.
