I suppose someone could make a cable to download or transfer images that had some sort of device somewhere in the middle of the cable that would convert the image format.
But I can't think of a reason I would want one when I can control conversions in my PP apps.
If one exists I have never seen it that I can remember.

A conversion cable would have to have some controls to set the parameters needed to convert the data from one format to another. Particularly if the original is raw.

There is not one. Years back there used to be called a laplink cable for transfer and files from one computer to another I think and that was very special but there is nothing that you can transfer files and change the file today the guys either confused or a troll
Freshman elementary School I guess one could write a program that when you download the files from your camera to the computer with with read the jpeg in the raw file and save it and then move on to the next long waste of time in my mind

That is a real possibility! Why spend 10,000 on equipment when you can just use firefly? Or a number of others? I have been using firefly for a few weeks now, and version 3 just came out, and it is certainly not perfect yet, but sometimes some really nice pictures come out, (if you can call them that). And things will no doubt get better. Will there come a time when nobody will know the difference? Is it real? Or is it AI? That time may be rapidly approaching.

I think you are using a RAW to Jpeg cable or you might just have a RAW to B&W cable installed. Make sure you are using a RAW to RAW cable connecting your camera to your download device, ie, card reader/computer.
