Hi. I was born in this igloo base hospitol in 1955 n have pic of me n my mother on the front pg news paper for igloo...my mother said she worked on the base as n ammunition handler...n my dad worked there too but she never said what he did. I never really knew how mindblowing her job really was till I read about Igloo n it's purpose to support the war effort...i.only then did I realize the significance of the job she did for our country! Wow! She never bragged abt what she did or say much abt it or talk abt her time there.... she was a young native American woman from the Cheyenne River reservation. Her name was Zerilda Mesteth n her husband was Henry(hank)Mesteth.

Interesting!

Would that have been "Fort Igloo", now a ghost town along Fort Igloo Road,
near Provo?
(I'm in PA and was looking at Google Maps.)
