This is now my 4th time at Krogers and finding a difference in their selection and Costcos. I also see a bit of a difference in some of my shots.
It's different doing this instead of my squirrels, but it's a learning experience. Next week, I will be at a client's house, and hopefully, their garden will be planted, and I can use my camera. I'm curious to see the difference between my camera and my iPhone. I wish I had the confidence to bring my camera into the store, but that's even more obvious.
I have included the last shot as I have no clue what I did, but it's a bit different, and as an abstract, I like it!
So I hope you enjoy. Constructive feedback is always welcome.
Great flower shots. Do not think they will come out better with a regular camera. The phone did an excellent job with your help. The abstact is fantastic looks like you did a motion blur.

Thanks for the feedback. I am actually thinking that with the other lens, my iPhone may win out. Time will tell. I never liked using a cell before, but with this one and its capabilities, it is different, and it is so much more convenient. The only downside is that you have difficulty seeing when the sun is bad.
I used to do motion blurs; this was just a fluke!
I sold my Sony A7 IV and equipment and am only using the Samsung 23S Ultra. That is what I will be taking to Guatemala May 10th. Much lighter load. I agree the sun can be a pain sometimes.

I think you’re doing well with your phone. I like your flower pics. The last one looks like you hit the shutter button as you walked by the flowers. Cool abstract, though. Call it serendipity. Keep up the good work. You may find that your cellphone will challenge your regular camera, and in some cases, may even surpass it.
JMO but I don’t think they’re quite there YET. The way the phone cameras are going though, it may be just a matter of time. I will agree with Wingpilot, that cell cameras already seem to do some things better than the DSLR’s.

Yes, I agree, it’s just a matter of time until smartphone cameras are able to do what DSLR and other MILC’s can do, and further, just as well as those cameras. I probably won’t be doing much photography about that time, but I do think cellphone cameras are a rapidly progressing technology.
