I have been using the phone camera a lot lately even though the IQ does not compare to my large camera. It is not much of a challenge to pick off birds in the yard with the A1. Just line them up, shoot a burst and pick one to process.
All things considered, the phone is more convenient, but it has many flaws . It is challenging to get descent image of a bird at a distance.
It reminds me of the early days when I was struggling with the equipment I had at the time.
These two sure turned out well.
Sort of kills any comment about ineffectiveness of cellphone cameras.
Nicely done!
These are really nice shots. I can't imaging doing birds with my cell!

Ecellent captures.

Amazing for a cell phone at that magnification! When you think about how much you’d have to spend for a DSLR, plus a good 600mm lens (or even a 400mm) to improve your quality, it puts everything in perspective. I guess it depends on what your final purpose/enlargement/cropping/size is 🤷🏻♂️. Then there’s the convenience factor to consider. Any way we cut it, it’s impressive.
