I don't think JR meant to be arrogant or mean. I saw it as tongue in cheek with a wink and a nod which is my kind of humor. Those that took offense haven't been tickled in awhile. The most interesting breakfast I've had recently was French toast with bread pudding instead of bread. In the UK bacon is akin to what we call Canadian Bacon. Our bacon is smoke cured "striped" which is a different cut of meat and even the tiniest morsel will impart a mouthful of flavor.

Very interesting shot, but all of that cholesterol is no good for me. I think perhaps people are reading too much into a well-composed and exposed photo.

I don't know what kippers are, but I didn't mind the haggis (sp?) I had when I toured Scotland....Can't say I cared much for blood pudding, though. There is a show on TV called "Bizarre Foods" where the host travels to different countries and tries the local cuisine. What may appear to one person to be gross may be what someone else lives on. That person in return might find someone else's food disgusting. We live in a diverse, beautiful world and should learn to appreciate cultural differences instead of being ethnocentric snobs.
