For a couple of years, I haven't been able to post anything on Amazon. I can't ask questions about a product, and I can't write reviews. When I asked about this, all they could say is that I violated their community standards.
Today, I got an email asking me to review my Amazon credit card. Clicking on the link, this is what I got.
We apologize but Amazon has noticed some unusual reviewing activity on this account. As a result, all reviews submitted by this account have been removed and this account will no longer be able to contribute reviews and other content on Amazon. If you would like to learn more, please see our community guidelines. To contact us about this decision, please email community-help@amazon.com.
Unfortunately, sending them an email is a waste of time. When I've spoken to Amazon support about this, they say that they are not allowed to call that department. All they can do is send email - which are ignored. Very odd. All my reviews were approved before they were posted, so I don't know why they think I violated their standards.

Any idea of what they thought was unacceptible?

Nope! And there's no way to find out. The thing is, all my reviews had to be approved before they were posted.
I have just the opposite problem. I gave a concise review of a vacuum cleaner, listing both good and bad points and giving it 4 stars. Soon thereafter, Amazon sent me a notice that mine was the primary review and it started forwarding prospective purchasers' questions to me (Would it be good for commercial house cleaning? How many amps does the motor pull? etc.). None of them were scam related but after 3 or 4 questions, I simply stopped answering.

Stopping was a smart move.

Maybe you were overloading the system

Until they pay me to write reviews, I’m not providing them the free use of my time - same with surveys.
Two days after I made an order from Amazon, persons unknown to me attempted to use my credit card number in New York. My credit card Security Dept. immediately recognized the attempted fraud and put a Stop on my card which canceled it. I had to apply for a new card. I had not used the card for some time before this occurred so I'm fairly sure somehow they got it from Amazon.
I have not used my new credit card or any other card on Amazon since this occurred.

I find that I can learn things about some products by reading some of the reviews. The kind of things that one would usually not find in the web site description.

I’m struggling with the same thing. Only used the card for Amazon and PayPal. Within hours of adding the card to PayPal and using it (with 2 factor authentication), it was compromised, so I assumed the leak was Paypal and cancelled Paypal, since I had been using it on Amazon for weeks, but it could be Amazon. Adding the replacement card only to Amazon and using it nowhere else, and if it’s compromised, I’ll know it’s Amazon. My network is secure and all passwords/logins everywhere changed, so no security holes that I can find unless Apple is full of it when they swear a key logger ap can’t be running on an IPad if you load only aps through Ap store (don’t “jailbreak” the IPad). That’s one thing I really dislike - I can’t get down close to the machine and see what processes are running plus it’s wireless. It is convenient for just sitting around and browsing, but I trust my wired Windows machine a lot more from a security perspective.
Was very concerned about the WiFi, which is running good encryption (WPA3) and tried to set up a guest network for my Roku and security system to use, but they’re not smart enough to log in to a guest network. I may end up using a separate router as a subnet just for ROKU and the Security system (which is monitored, so it has network access). Frankly I think the network is a long shot, but I’m running out of ideas. This has been a real PIA.
I never do reviews of products I’ve purchased from Amazon or any other retailer. I have done reviews on my stays at hotels/vacation rentals, etc. I’m currently in the middle of a claim on a warranty I purchased on Amazon with a video game console, which I feel is not going to go my way. If I had the choices locally, or even within 50 miles of my home, that we have on Amazon I would never buy anything from Amazon.

No, but I'm sure Amazon can't be overloaded.

I use my Amazon card only on Amazon. It makes it easier to keep track of things.
