Yellow tulips really light up the world! All are nice. I've always been partial to sidelighting.

Thanks, Kathy, with this just out my front door I get to experiment with all sorts of angles.

Great set Mike which really shows the differences in appearance of the flowers in different light.

Thanks, Mark, having these flowers just outside the door has been a great help.

Because of the Oquirrh Mountains to our west blocking the sunset, our front garden never gets direct golden hour sunset light. Also, some parts of the garden get direct light and others remain in the shade. In this set, I tried to capture multiple flowers, some in the sunlight and some in the shade.

Comments and suggestions are welcome.

All very nice but I think that #10 has the best light and contrast.

Thank you, that seems to be the consensus. It was a severe crop that I was afraid would not work out.

UTMike...I appreciate Your flowers (Hmmm...better said: he photos of them!).
Perhaps in Your garden are some spots where a mirror could just re-direct the light to illuminate flowers which never can get those "direct" strays.
It is just an idea to capture other beauties!

Thanks, Dan. I do have photographic reflectors, but I was experimenting with captures in the shade and partial shade.
