Thank you.
I used Photoshop Elements.
I used the filter, find edges.
Then I used layers to add colours, using different blending modes so that the colour would blend, using them at different opacities.
Then I went into the Elements Fx windows and tried one until I found one that I liked.
Easy, but sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't.

Wow, a lot of work, but it certainly was well worth the effort!

No, not that much. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, and you have to start all over.
