Yes, the coming weeks should be getting better there - if the skies would just open up a bit and let some light through ! Sundays and Mondays are best for my schedule.....

Well, I never shoot RAW. I have Elements 5 and there is a standard protocol I use and I do not vary it much at all and it just WORKS. I started out using spot metering but about a year or so ago I went to centerweighted and sometimes manual and I see no reason to change these now. I set exposures for what looks good on the LCD and never look at histograms.
