Hello,

Took some shots at kids football this weekend The perfect storm as far as lack of equipment knowledge- Using a camera I've only had a couple of months(Canon 70D from old 30D) and trying a Canon 70-200 2.8 for the first time that I rented
Background on a lot of them were very light- focusing on dark uniforms?

Questions- where to focus? Used the middle block for focus- or should I use center point
Metering- what to use- spot, partial?

THanks!!

RT

I hear that so many times, what do you mean by spot focusing, are you referring to spot metering? I thought one always concentrates on a certain spot when focusing and then take the (wanted) DOF in consideration......
