Nice shot! As Nikonian said, what you have here is a damselfly. The easy markings for ID are the stripes, bands and rings on the abdomen and the eye spots and or bar on the back of the head.The very thin humeral stripe would only narrow it down to an Attenuated, Pale or Slender Bluet, Blue-fronted, Powdered or Aurora Damsel or one of the sprites here in the east.
