Good morning y'all, a little bit about myself. I am a 68 year old retiree living in the town of Palestine, Texas. I spent a lot of years behind the lens of a couple of high end point and shoot Kodak's. Got fairly comfortable with those and got the desire to expand to a DSLR, tried a Canon D50 but I am not sure if the camera, or the len's were at fault, but every shot was very soft focus so now I am getting used to a Pentax K-r. If any of you are experienced with the Pentax K-r I would love to hear from you and share in your learning experience with it. I have no problem with picking your brain about the good and the limitations of this camera, and I look forward to sharing a good time with all of you.

Good morning Rick, as one Texan to another, you and your camera have a nice thing going on there, great shots. I am new to this forum, so after church this morning I will introduce myself to all. I noticed your post and wanted a quick hello and to share one shot I took years ago with a little Kodak that has served me well for years. Have a great weekend, and with a little luck today we may get some much needed rain.
