Sorry but you'd have to actually type it in your message for anyone here to hear you.
He did MtnMan, was in one of his earlier reply's to another comment. You are too quick to overload your mouth with your anal orifice. Too many people are out to belittle others here when they have no idea where they ae coming from. Take the time to read everything previous so you know what has and what has not been previously offered. It is called common courtesy, and it is terribly lacking here.

I tried it earlier when it went public and hated it, ended up rolling back to Windows 7 Pro 64. The program was just too flawed when it first went public. I just loaded it again today and things seem to be a bit better. It still has a huge bug, well for me it is. In Win 7 and XP ( skipped Vista) when you plug in a USB device the program will prompt you for what you intend to do, Win 10 asks once and uses that answer without a prompt when subsequent USB devices are plugged in. My biggest gripe is when you go to unplug that USB device you plugged in and there is no "safely remove USB device" icon to click on. I set the program up to via system settings to show the icon in the task bar but it won't show the icon at all. There is a work around but it just pisses me off for this to not work. Other than this the program seems OK......not fond of edge...still using IE11 which works in this latest build of 10

Your statement about no safely remove icon intrigued me so I checked my system with one of the many drives I carry with me daily. Soon as I insert my flashdrive a window appears showing my drive and the folder structure within that drive. I checked the notification area and there is a small icon shaped like the flashdrive for safely remove. Are you installing all Windows updates?

I have had a six quart for years and wouldn't take for it.
Since I no longer have the restaurant I could have done with less but when you use the best for business you don't want less quality in your home.

Good shots, George!

Thank you sailorsmom for those kind words.

I got home from church, it was late but this moon just begged to be photographed so I grabbed the camera, switched to shutter priority, selected what I thought was a slower shutter speed than was obtainable and fired off 4 shots. Ran back in the house and downloaded the images. I am sitting here looking at two throwaways and two keepers. Put the card back in the camera, ran back out to the parking lot and took 4-5 more and came back and checked these, and you see what I saw. Unbelievable considering I shake like a leaf all the time. For $150 you can't beat this camera (1,200mm) handheld, pitch black, ISO100.

Thanks George, I am pleasantly surprised as to how good
this little camera is. I think if I had known the physical size
of this camera I would not have bought it, I have large hands.

ebbote, my only complaint so far is what seems like a very sensitive shutter button. I try to half/press to focus and end up with a shot before fully depressing the shutter. Not sure if this is an inherent problem or one solely related to my camera body. I do have a cable release which I bought for portrait work but I would prefer not to use it all the time.

don't forget to turn off the IS when you put it on the tripod.

Thanks Doowopa, I have shot full size DSLR's for the last 10 years so that practice is ingrained from time.

Here is one that I posted a few days ago, I shot it at 1200mm hand held, it's pretty sharp.

Ebbote, I would be mighty comfortable with something like that by any platform. You got right down to the nicks and dings.

It now has me intrigued to where I want to set up the tripod and really see what it can provide. I have not tried any manual mode shots so that will be the test, trying to learn where I need to be with all three settings. I am not sure how sharp focus will be with camera at full extension. Anyone out there with some recommendations for a starting point?

Good captures George.

Thank you very much, with my hand shake I was expecting nothing usable at all.

I posted my order on the 12th of Sept, got it about a week later. I have a terrible case of tremors, if I'm holding a cup of coffee and your within 5 feet of me, your shirt is wet. well, I snapped off some shots of the moon last night, just posted them to the gallery for everyone to see. For me to even get one image handheld is amazing, and at these slow shutter speeds makes this one awesome camera.

Some of you may know that last month I managed to purchase this camera refurbished from Canon for $149. I have not had much of a chance to see how well it performs until last night. I was going to really test it out over the weekend during the eclipse but we could see nothing due to total cloud cover. Coming home last night after church and then dinner out I noticed the moon as clear as could be so I ran inside, got the camera, set it to shutter priority of 1/30 sec and took the first shot handheld just to see what I could get full zoom. I was blown away because I have terrible tremors and expected nothing. I fired off a couple more. Very seldom will I be using any of my cameras handheld but this impressed me a lot.
