So you actually believe the LGBTQ insanitary that biological males possess the magical ability to perform the medical and scientifically impossible feat of transforming their sex and DNA by wishing it were so and aren’t simply deluded homosexual cross-dressers duping heterosexuals terrified of being called homophobic.

When I was in the weather squadron at Kadena AB, Okinawa our mission was to provide support for Black Bird operations with upper air measurements (my maintenance job) and weather satellite photos. The Black Bird people used both to determine if the area over the target was clear of clouds and climatic conditions were conducive for safe flight operations. Both determined if the mission was a go or not. They kept the bird in an underground hanger out of sight where it was refueled and serviced. When ready the engines were started and it taxied up the ramp, immediately took off and headed out over the ocean toward a cloud it would pop up into. That was supposed to hide its ultimate course from prying eyes. It all seems so sophomoric now. We were actually briefed not to draw attention to it by looking up when it passed over even though it was the loudest plane on the field with the most distinctive sound signature. The ALL-BLACK SR-71 (WITH THE RAY-TYPE NOSE) attracted so much attention from the Japanese news photographers crowding against the perimeter fence the Air Force concocted a cover story that was published in the local Ryuku Island newspaper. The AF flew in a GRAY YF-12A (WITH THE POINTY INTERCEPTOR NOSE CONE), according to local legend at the time piloted by Daryl Greenamyer. This obviously different colored plane with the obviously different front end arrived over the field and did a couple of tight turns in full afterburner. Watching that delta shape staying within the field boundary making enough noise to shake the ground was great and was probably heard all over the island. That demonstration was supposed to convince everyone the YF-12A was assigned at Kadena AB to “provide air protection for the Ryuku Islands”. The article was published in the local paper but I don’t know if anyone actually believed it.

Way too garish for my taste but I hope they work better than the Japanese TOTO 1.6 g/f disaster I bought. Takes at least two and sometimes three flushes to empty. I wonder how much water well-intended "environmentalists" actually wasted with their amateurish meddling since passing their legislation.

In the 1970's I was a member of a team using an NC-130A assigned to Air Force Cambridge Research Labs for weather modification missions. We often flew just over cloud layers to photograph the influence the planes passage had on them producing that affect. We also flew in the layers to sample their composition and later to test various methods of dissipating them to allow aircraft to land and supplies delivered during monsoon conditions. They all blur together after all these years but missions over Texas, Oklahoma, Washington, Wallops Island, Virginia and anyplace with nasty weather was fair game.

I was way too close to horizon spanning tundra fires in Alaska so I have some feeling for your concern.

Nice shot. I find it hard to get used to the double action. I guess I'm hung up on 1911's

Me too! Love my Colts and Kimbers.

At one time in America squirrels were the most popular pet. I too saved and raised a young squirrel that had it's mother killed by a cat. All was fine until it became an adult and began to bite every kid in the
neighborhood. It spent more time in quarantine than roaming free after that. We tried many time to release it during camping trips but squirrels are extremely territorial and have been chased out of so many places we eventually gave up. It lived in out cellar for a few more years but became increasingly intolerant of any noises or movements it didn't like and started jumping down from the pips to bite my hand while I was sanding a canoe I was building. When I returned from treating the bite I discovered it had slid down the hull into a bucket of detergent witted water and drowned.

Awesome shots!! I have been that close by accident and it's NOT fun!

Had one come up behind me to about 10 feet while calling turkeys up in the White Mountains. Fascinating!

Great shots, Marg, but I hate to see the dragon flies being taken as so many mosquitoes will not be eaten. Oh Well.

I have many huge greys infesting my yard. They've even chewed the cups off my anemometer. My brother-in-law became so disgusted after every single pear had a bite taken out of them every year he cut the tree down. No natural predators (except cars) and hunting not allowed has caused the population to reach its carrying point. Soon Mother Nature will do her thing with mange and freezing weather will start the massive die-off to complete the natural cycle.
