Driving on Route 28 in Falmouth, MA (Cape Cod), we decided to stop and check out some unusual statues. Seems that the statues are not all that is unusual there. Here is the website for Bad Martha Brewery and an exerpt from their home page

Welcome To Bad Martha

Dance with a stranger. Give out your real number. Convince someone that’s your yacht moored outside the harbor.

A trip to Martha's Vineyard or Cape Cod is a chance to escape. To let go. To be, dare we say, a little bad. That indulgent spirit lives and breathes in every drop of Bad Martha beer. So grab a bottle and get bad today.

From a few miles northwest of town, along what I like to call the Tenmile/Dubinky/313 'loop'.

Somehow, whenever I have some particular drone shots in mind, it gets extremely windy.... and tourorists on quads show up, too.

Had a bit of a family issue which nesecitated driving up to Norfolk (U.K.) and before I headed home took a few hours in Cromer.
Cromer was a small fishing community up on the North Sea coast that became a tourist resort during the Victorian era, after the railway had got there.
Images of it appear in many places, and sometimes I think it's impossible to take a bad shot there - but yesterday it was awful.
A few 'out of season' tourists, empty cafe's, a brooding sea and dark clouds - it really was 'Waiting for Summer'.

This set is composed of landscape shots taken during recent dog walks. We are in the Salt Lake Valley and have views of both the Wasatch and Oquirrh Mountains.

Comments and suggestion are welcome.

Late last eve our little dog started making wimpering noises and my wife went to the back door to see what the fuss was about. She opened the door and told me to come peek quickly. There was a juvenile opossum getting a drink in our backyard. I grabbed my camera and followed him where he hid behind our A/C unit and edge of the house. After tinkering with camera settings in the dark for a minute, I was able to capture his face (thanks to the SB400 speedlight).

In California the opposum is a protected species. They are very timid creatures. No harm became of this guy and he at the scraps of bread we left for him. We are certain his relatives are in the area.

These were a couple of quick snapshots of my new Grandson and my wife. There are 58 years between them. The Nikon Z9 has no problem finding eyes especially with the Z 105mm attached. I had the new "skin softening" feature active on the camera which seems to smooth the pores of the skin out. A bit more buttery IMHO. Anyone else try it since the firmware release?

Very nice! I have not yet tried it but will after this presentation!

The first photo was scanned from a slide, the rest are all DSLR shots. Spans a lot of years.

Just a few flowers from around Texas. Lady Bird Johnson started a wildflower program back when LBJ was president and it has continued ever since and has added miles and miles of wildflowers all around the state.

Fishing on the Maine Coast apparently means you can’t be afraid of a few waves. Couple of frames from a burst. In the first, you can just barely see the outline of the fisherman within the crashing wave. The second was a blink of an eye later.
