For the first picture, I went to a vineyard on Long Island and this is what I left after a real binge.
The next 2 are from the Big Apple Circus.

Sorry, folks.

Thank you very much, no I did not, will have my wife search for it in the library.

You are welcome.
I think you will love the book.
I bought 3 copies from Amazon at $6.00 a copy and loaned them out. Nobody gave it back. Oh, well!

Always thought / hoped that Nikon would come out with a digital back that could go on any of the F series! Then you could go either way with the same great gear. At one point there was an internet hoax that someone had designed a digital interface based on film cartridge for 35 mm cameras. All we need is a genius to take it from hoax to reality!

A few years back, Kodak worked with Nikon and they both sold a digital back for the Nikon F4 I believe. It was an outstanding piece of equipment but retailed in the area of $45,000.
I did not think I needed one.

The first one is probably a Morgan or a Morgan kit car. Back in the '60's you could buy a Morgan in a crate just like a model car kit and have it delivered to your house. Just put it together, drive it.

The 1st one is a Lotus 7 original.

You should see the mess I made in the kitchen trying to remove the scales!

I have two first cousins who both love to fish and cook fish. I'll ask one of them to teach me. When I was at the the "Field and Stream" store near me, I spotted an electric filleting knife. I'll give it a more serious look.

These are 5 hours of fishing on Big Lake in Alaska, about 70 miles north of Anchorage. The trouts were delicious on the grill.

I have been using this release version for about 2 weeks now and all I have to say is DO NOT waste your time. Stay with Windows 7. Windows 10 at this point is full of bugs. Some things work and some thing sometimes work. The Windows 10 updates do not work correctly half the time and updates CAN NOT be turned off. In my opinion Windows 10 should never have been released in this condition. It is going to try a lot of patients and completely turn of others to Windows 10. At least wait until they get Windows 10 to function correctly. I personally went right back to Windows 7. Window 10 does nothing Windows 7 does not do and Windows 10 has lost a lot of functionality of Windows 7. I feel I would be better off with Windows 8.1 than Windows 10 at this point. At least Windows 8.1 worked ......
I have been using this release version for about 2... (show quote)

The version you are using is a beta and you knew it could have problems.
Generalizing is not quite fair unless you preface with the right information. may be you should get the final release version and re-evaluate.

I have 64 bit Win 7 Pro. Anyone have this OS and upgrade to Win 10? Any issues with drivers, ... I'd appreciate feedback. I want to upgrade, but I feel a little waiting might be a wise move. Any opinion?

Thanks,
Mark

I understand your concerns. I updated 4 computers running I7 multicores with a minimum of 4 gig of RAM and I did not have any problems. It took an average of 1 hour per machine to complete but the resulting performance improvements are spectacular. 3 of these machines were originally windows 7 pro upgraded to windows 8 pro then windows 8.1. The last one was bought with windows 8 upgraded to 8.1.
The decision to upgrade is yours but you can run your system in the same manner you run win 7 pro so the learning curve should be minimal if even needed.

Good day.

Relating to the Hippy Inn, there is a great book by T.C. Boyle called "Drop City" that is a must read to learn about Alaska. You can probably get it from the library. If you do, please share your opinion specially in today's context.
Have a great day.

Oops! Sorry for the misspelling. It should be Hippie Inn.

You wouldn't find any old red barns in Alaska but I found cabins and often wondered what happened? As for the first picture, this is a retired logging camp, this campsite is built on huge logs it can be pulled by tugboat to any new logging site. Very practical around the islands in southeast Alaska.

This is only my opinion of course, some shots just look better in B&W. It's a matter of how stark the scene is. I have found that sometimes color is distracting. I couldnot invision how this shot would look in color

Your shot is beautiful.
This one may answer your color question.

I have not tried to convert it.

You should try it. On the other hand, don't. We would not like it.
