Oh my yes - Lucas, prince of darkness

Except for their Sport Coil. I put on on my '67 Datsun 1600, and I think that engine could start underwater!

Interesting. They had a number of TR3 bodies left when they discontinued the TR3 engines, and they put the TR4 engine in those and titled them as TR3Bs. Was yours one of those, or did you do the swap yourself?

Previous owner did the swap and sunk a lot into the engine build, but it never ran up to its potential. He got frustrated and sold it for a loss. The next day I discovered that the gas pedal linkage was hitting the firewall. Easy fix and from then on it ran like a stripped-azz ape! Cars were fun then.

It was so cold this morning, I put a pot of boiling water outside and it froze so fast that the ice was still hot.

Come on Lee. You have to grow older but there is absolutely no requirement to grow up

Yeah, you got that right. I list a little when walking and sometimes lose my balance, so I bought a walker (red of course; red is the fastest). It sits unused next to my chair as a reminder, a challenge. My wife and daughter have asked me to move it into storage, but I use it just by seeing it; it reminds me to keep on keeping on. It's got disc brakes too! Maybe when I get old I'll take it for a spin (bad choice of words.)

Wow! To be in a Dino Ferrari driven by Phil Hill!

Besides my '52 MGTD I had a '59 TR3 with a TR4 engine, a real mover. I bought a new '67 Datsun 1600, another fun cart. My last two-seater was a Pontiac Fiero - four cylinder, five speed. It became my Ferrari every time I drove it! After 320,000 miles I retired it and grew up.

I miss the old days when you could walk around the Pits and meet the drivers. Nothing serious but I raced G and H Production back in the 60s when we would drive our cars to the track, tape up the headlights, put on a helmet and go racing.

You got that right! Did you ever cross paths/lanes with Dick Ganger, Chick Walsh, Harvey Winograd, or Manny and Loraine Holder; I spun wrenches for them. Bobsy G Production, Bugeye Sprite, Porsches. I drove a '52 MGTD that I Mickey Moused a Kaiser-Frasier Supercharger on - absolute chick-magnet. Now I drive a four-door Buick...

Masten Gregory drove one for awhile. He's mostly forgotten now, but was one heck of a racer from the '50's until the early '70's.

Take out all the batteries out them back in the outside unit first than the inside unit. They might have to be close together at first.

Hearing aides already churn healthy profits. Fortunately, many people equate them with walkers and feel it makes them elderly.

I guess I am elderly - 76. But my hearing aids allow me to experience life at a more youthful level. They are worth every cent I paid for them. A few years ago I purchased a walker - it sits unused behind my recliner, I am fighting using it out of stubbornness. I am going to visit a cemetery today; my wife and daughter will assist me. The walker would not be useful on the soggy grass.

After years of competitive shooting, racing stockcars and Rock 'N' Roll, I wore-out my hearing, but I'd do it again all over again.

Merry Christmas!
