I had gotten a smear on a sensor from somewhere that "normal" swabs with normal cleaning solution didnt work. I found this at B&H and it worked like magic! If you want to try it be sure the swabs are appropriate for your camera and the solution is too. But it is amazing on things like grease spots. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1318070-REG/visibledust_18512952_ez_sensor_cleaning_kit.html?sts=pi&pim=Y
I will buy this. Can you send me PayPal invoice?
If you are using Apple's Safari browser it will generate secure passwords and remember them for you. I usually make up my own though!
Here is one of my favorite birds, and fortunately, they are becoming more common in my local! This is actually a pair! Check out the female hiding in the background!
Good one! Have a great day!
I would take the 70-200 and find a way to pick up or borrow a 24 or 28mm prime that would be small enough to not weigh you down much and would be great for capturing the grandeur of vistas.
I like the Canon Pro-100 so much! I had an older model for years and didnt use it much so it eventually clogged. Got a new one last year on sale at B&H for a great price, and it hasn't clogged yet. Oh, I do use it more, mostly for Hallmark Card Studio (which is great BTW) and for printing checks from Quicken (easier to insert a partial page than on my laser printer). So the Canon gets used about once a week or so. Totally agree, the print quality for the occasional photo is amazing, and the ink, while not dirt cheap, seems to last a pretty long time.
Here is my first attempt using Affinity Photo.
I use an older MacBook Pro (2016) with an 5K LG monitor that has USB-C ports in it so it both keeps my MBP fully charged, and provides ports for an external SSD drive for Time Machine back ups, and for a card reader. So only need to plug in one cable to the MBP, and get a nice screen to work on. Usually have my calendar on the MBP screen and use the LG for everything else.
I have been using Zeiss T* filters and more recently B&W and find them excellent. I did recently purchase the Tiffen variable ND filter 77mm and am VERY pleased with it. Even made in the US! I will definitely consider other Tiffen filters in the future!
I also really like the Sigma clear Ceramic glass protector filters and use them on my Sigma lenses.
One thing to consider for filters like UV and clear Protector filters is the construction of the rim. I like brass where possible since I worry that aluminum might get stuck to the lens threads if left on for a long time and some corrosion results.
Glad to meet you online! Looking forward to some images!
I own both the Sigma 150-600 (for Canon) and the Sigma 100-400 L mount and use both on my Leica SL2. Both produce amazing images but the 100-400 has faster autofocus for me. I would be interested in Canon owners experience with both lenses. Is the fact that I am using a Sigma lens adapter with the 150-600 resulting in slower autofocus than if it were being used on a Canon body (I know the contrast autofocus may not be as fast as phase detect). Just to compare autofocus speed. Also, I have the Sigma TC-1401 and use it now and then with the 100-400 but prefer the 150-600 if I know I will need that long a lens.
My profile photo was taken with the 100-400 (cropped).
I recommend the Sigma 150-600. And Sigma does make a TC for it, but you probably won't need it! VERY good lens!
