f9,1/125,iso 1000, 24mm lens at 4:30 pm.happy so far, it does seem to be a power hog though.granted playing with it a lot just to get used to the new layout since i did own the old 7d

Yep picked mine up on Saturday's tried to register it yesterday, same prob I e-mailed canon and just waiting for a replay. hope it does not take as long as the release of the mark 2 :)

thanx bird pix. i'm using a canon 7d now and using a 600 ex rt flash, i have pre orded the mark 2 that,s how the question came up. with better iso noise i could bump it up since i always tried to keep it under 400 with the origanal 7d thanks again

with outdoor pics using a flash as a fill, and if i use a higher iso the flash does not need as much output for proper exposure, I hope i'm correct in saying this if so my question is with the higher iso does help the dark or shadow areas in the distant become more evenly exposed even with the camera set to evaluative metering
