If you use coupon code NTFN you will get an additional 30% off of the total (over $100). I saved almost $39 off of the set Fundamentals and Masters.
Port St. Joe is a beautiful place. We love the fact that it is so laid back and relaxing. Only made it for 2 nights this time. We usually go in July as well for scalloping. I ordered a teleconverter, so I am hoping that will give me better reach with the 70-300, but I really want the 150-600 or 300 f/4. I have not decided yet which one I will get. It is hard to get the shots I am trying to get with the 70-300.
Thanks for the tips and advice. Hopefully I will have time to work on some of the pics tonight. My son's baseball keeps me pretty busy during the week.
Thanks for the tip Photog8. I will have to check Picasa out. Free sounds great. I have Lightroom (free with a printer that I bought my son for Christmas) and DxO Pro Elite (trial). I think the hardest part for me will be to develop an eye for what needs to be done to the photographs to make them pop.
Thanks again.
Thanks gregoryd45, I am glad you liked them. I know that I still have a long ways to go, especially in Post Processing, but figured the best way was to post and get some feedback as there seems to be a lot of experienced folks on here. The PP aspect really seems like it will be daunting, but so was the camera when I first picked it up.
Thanks for the advice and thank you for looking.
Here are some pics I took while at Port St. Joe over the weekend. No processing other than the automatic processing done in DxO Optics. Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated as I am still very new at this, but am really enjoying it. All pictures taken with Nikon D7100 with 70-300.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the great hospitality. I hope to one day be as knowledgeable as the great folks on here.
Hi everyone. I have been lurking for about a month and finally decided that it was time to come out of the shadows and post. I recently started getting more serious in my photography. My favorite things to photograph thus far are wildlife and sports (mostly of the kids).
I have learned a lot in the short time that I have been reading and looking forward to continue my journey into photography.
