Part II -while waiting for my truck to be serviced, I took my trusty Z9 with 600pF attached and went out behind the dealership. A walkway along the waterfront is there, looking across at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton WA.

Seems to be Caspian Tern mating behaviors going on. Flying around with dead fish in my beak seems to be a racy way of attracting other Terns. I must try it!

The GBH flew into a No Heron Zone and the Terns took offense. The GBH finally flew off as the onslaught was continuous.

The enterprising young Gull thought to bring some greens to go along with some tasty clam.

Download and enjoy!

Outstanding. If you have to wait somewhere for something that looks like a good spot.

Nice set. I have witnessed a pair of Terns with the hand off of the fish as a spring time gester a couple of times but never them buzzing the larger waders!

The GBH had just landed in the place two terns were dancing. The terns were very loud seeming to desire complete control of the beach while their rituals were performed.
