Why is Stacy Abram’s still contesting the Georgia e******n she lost then?

I cannot answer that question. But if the republicans can do it, why not the dems? The republicans are probably more likely to react in retribution than the republicans. Just look at their behavior over the last few years. Oh and I am sure I will get a bunch of comments on that one!!! But, look at the facts.

What I think (and it really matters little) is that although some states were allowed to summarily change ruled under the guise of C***d, vehicles like paid b****t harvesters were more widely employed (not illegal and part of the democrat’s very effective ground game that they will be more effective than republicans in 2024 as well) and there was some fraud identified but the courts clearly found that any fraud was not enough to change the results of any e******n. I do believe that the media (most main stream print and televised) as well as social media quashed stories or information (such as H****r’s laptop) that could have changed razor thin margins but I obviously have no way to quantify that. I believe that certain conservative PACS were prevented from social media sites preventing solicitations because they were deemed to spread unsafe C***d information or alleged h**e speech but again there is no way I could quantify the effect of such disruptions so I live with the results of the e******n without protest.

Thank you for your honest reply. There may have been some crap going on, but imho, not enough to change the past e******ns, but will cause additional care in future e******ns, making the argument that c*****t e******n and fraud are well passé. Time to move on, if you want to win an e******n, be a better candidate, get more supporters and get people to v**e. Don’t use mass manipulations to rile the weak minded into thinking they could have won, when in fact they did not. Don’t give false hope by way of a sore loser fantasy. Time to act in a unified way.

Do you think that the amount of e******n f***d really impacted the e******n? Or is it just pre-posturing to explain why the loser lost and will lose again? I know what I think. What do you think? I am always open to facts, they must be real however, not some fantasy developed out of delusion and desperation.

Such a crock of s**te! We have the safest and most secure e******ns on the planet. Poor losers (tRump) have figured out a way to question results they don’t like and are supported by those who also don’t like to lose. Wh**ever happened to fair and square?

Nice Gary! I found a couple in my house last year. Not sure they were dead so I did not use pins to mount them to photograph them. Still have them, waiting for them to awaken.

Happens to me all of the time, with increasing regularity. My wife says that I just have too much stuff. That’s possible. I left my sunglasses at my friends’ house on the other side of the island last night. At least I know where they are 😂

I am happy to leave a tip, I typically do at least 20%, provided that the service is decent and the server shows interest in me as a customer Nantes quality of their service and what they deliver to me.

I also always say please and thank you so they know I appreciate what they do and do for me. Terrible service get a complaint.

Quick addendum: I’ve had success using 1T and 2T external drives, but I’ve had a couple of 4T drives fail rather quickly—so I prefer using multiple smaller drives. I’ve tried various brands over the years, and the ones that have consistently performed best and lasted longest are Seagate and Western Digital. I won’t touch La Cie drives, even though that’s the brand that the Mac store was selling for several years (I don’t know about now); I’ve had too many bad experiences with those. I should add that I’m storing not only photos (raws and jpegs), but also large Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator files.

I agree on the LaCie front. Every one I ever owned failed on me. Solution, multiple drives with staggered backups. They are cheap enough and plug in to usb, so no reason not to. I also have a cloud backup in case of local disaster.

You forgot black flies.

Mosquitoes breed in stagnant water so if you have a running stream you won't have a (local) source of mosquitoes.

Black flies breed in cold running water so if you have a stagnant pond you won't have a (local) source of black flies.

When the deer flies, don't look up.

I hate to see boards full of dead butterflies pinned for display.

Yeah. When I was a kid, I wanted to be an entomologist. My parents bought me all of the stuff to do it with. There was a thing called a killing jar. It was a glass jar with a large cork top. Put a little acetone on some cotton balls and then drop a bug in there and watch it writhe in pain as it died. Thinking back, that was horrible!

We need to learn how to live with one another, we only share the planet, not own it. Although, I draw the line at mosquitos and deer flies! I do save drowning bugs from my pool. Except mosquitoes and deer flies. I hate mosquitoes and deer flies. It’s them or me. Everything else I save. Have I mentioned mosquitoes and deer flies? 😂

Yes! I can't imagine how they are allowed. Did someone have to approve that, or can anything be used as a trap? I don't even like the idea of killing mice, but the trap is instantaneous. On the other hand, I don't want mice running around my house. If I catch them live and bring them outside, they'll come right back in. I could drive them miles away and hope they don't find their way back, but that involves driving an expensive car that's burning expensive fuel.

You’re a good person. I do the same with bugs, unless it’s too cold outside. I let them live with me until it warms up. There are 2 exceptions however, mosquitos, and roaches, but, I’ve never had a roach in my home. 😂

Any dead bug I find is fair game for my macro activities. I don’t kill them to photograph them.

So sorry to hear this. It’s heartbreaking to experience this. I am sure you have considered this, but if not, try this.

Get a hard drive enclose, put your defunct hard drive in it. Connect that enclosure to another computer to see if the other computer can access the data on the hard drive that has crapped out. If you can, you can copy your files to another drive. If it’s a boot issue, this may work. You may also be able to clone the drive onto another drive, then read the data.
Hope this works and best of luck. Please keep us posted.

I used the Apple suggested strong password. I could still get on with face recognition, but I couldn’t change the password.
This may have been related to my purchase of the Q3 on eBay, which I payed using PayPal, but I don’t know. I can’t believe they didn’t catch this person the next day after s/he used it to pay his t-mobile account.

Wow. That’s scary. Hackers and thieves are getting pretty sophisticated. Hope you weren’t harmed and recovered everything.

My bookkeeper once asked me why my daughter was withdrawing $700 per day from the atm. I called my daughter and she told me that she was not. Called the bank, they stopped the withdrawals, changed the account number, issued new atm cards and reimbursed her for all of the stolen money, ($7,000). Great bank and I am thankful for my bookkeeper for paying attention.

I am super paranoid about passwords. None of them are the same for my accounts. I have notifications turned on for all of my credit cards that instantly text and email me whenever a charge is made. Such a PITA, but we have to do this now.

By the way, congrats on your Q3. How are you liking it?
