Cute idea, but Sammy doesn't look too happy having her picture taken. I think my cat might like the box idea in the winter - 90 degrees here today. He also, never likes his picture taken.

It looks like basil to me. Just bought one this morning. I think I will leave it in the pot, as I don't have good luck planting them.

Wow, if the water was this crowded, I can imagine how crowded the sand must have been. #6 perfect timing for a surprising shot.😎

Nice family photos. Looks like someone told the little one to look up and she did. :)

All of my photographs are from my archives, since I can no longer cope with handling cameras, lenses, and the rest of photo gear. So I apologize for boring you if you've seen these images before. I show them only because I think they might illustrate whatever the theme is.

Because I worked so much with my Rolleiflex, those negatives are all square. But sometimes I used other formats. Irene mentioned cropping from oblong to square. The firsherman shot, made with an old folding bellows camera in 1946, was a vertical with distracting shoreline across the top and too much foreground. When cropped square, I had my usual Rollei image! I think that Rollei haunts me! Checking the image against Irene's elements, I guess it contains all of them, more or less. Please let me know if I'm mistaken. The other two images are full square negs, no crop.

I love your fisherman shot!
There is nothing boring about your photos. My dad was in the Army Air Corp in World War II. I like to think that these are some things that maybe he saw.
I especially love the one you took of your buddy standing on the wing of the plane in the sunset. Please keep them coming.

There is an identical statue of Dr. Seuss at the drawing table at UC San Diego
outside the library. It is the Geisel Library.

Oops, this was in response to Patographys post in Sprinfield.

Love the first one! That bench would be the prefect spot to sit and enjoy the serenity.

I saw them while driving last night. My husband looked for info on phone and found out that they were Venus and Jupiter. Interestingly, the larger image was Venus.

Congratulations! It takes a lot of hard work and dedication, from the scout and his family.
