Because I worked so much with my Rolleiflex, those negatives are all square. But sometimes I used other formats. Irene mentioned cropping from oblong to square. The firsherman shot, made with an old folding bellows camera in 1946, was a vertical with distracting shoreline across the top and too much foreground. When cropped square, I had my usual Rollei image! I think that Rollei haunts me! Checking the image against Irene's elements, I guess it contains all of them, more or less. Please let me know if I'm mistaken. The other two images are full square negs, no crop.

There is nothing boring about your photos. My dad was in the Army Air Corp in World War II. I like to think that these are some things that maybe he saw.
I especially love the one you took of your buddy standing on the wing of the plane in the sunset. Please keep them coming.
