As I have read, 11 is strictly 64 bit, so if you have 32 bit software or a 32 bit version installed, it won't work. If this is not correct, please correct me. If true that would be my real worry, as while I always choose 64 bit, I don't know what I might have that isn't. Certainly on this site people often mention old stuff they like and use.
Problem with not upgrading is at present Microsoft plans to stop supporting 10, no security updates, in just few yrs as store confirmed.
This update stuff is getting ridiculous, last night I looked into getting Paramount+. Found it only works on smart TVs and for many brands only those made in maybe last 5 yrs. I have no intention of relacing every tv, monitor, computer, phone etc. every 5 yrs or even sooner because firms decide it's a great way to make money.

Win 11 is Intel hardware agnostic. It works on 32 or 64 bits platforms. The applications in 32 bits format will be faster but not as much since there is a mapping/conversion taking place at execution time.
