hi all. i will be taking a large family pic this holiday i will be using a 7d/2, two, canon 600ex rt on stands and the 600 ex rt transmitter. now looking to get a wireless remote trigger my concerns is frequency conflicts between the two xmitters they might have. i know the 600 rt have multiple channel choices but should i look for a trigger that have selectable channels as well. any suggestions on good a one would be greatly appreciated. one extra note the hot shoe is being used by the 600 exrt so it needs to be pluged into to the body. thank you bill, happy holidays

i also agree with everyone don't. but if they can't afford a pro and push comes to shove, make sure they know you might not have anything and they understand that. if you do decide to do it def shoot raw then they can have pro editor take the files and bring back something that is lost in jpeg. just take a "LOT" you prob will get some decent memories. remember pros don't sit during any kind of jobs. good luck

hi all, this past monday went down to photo the memorial lights for 9/11 i'm adding a few in memory of all that were lost "RIP!!!" My question and i know it will be answered here, i use a canon 7dm2 when i put my canon 16-35 L 2.8 lens i get such bad converging lines. blue lights and the freedom tower.the vertical pic that i inserted really shows this. my camera was turned vertical to show more of the beams of light. is there anything i can do to correct this ? i know a little about tilt shift lens, is what i would need to really correct this situation ? thanks for any info bill

hi all, With the two 600 ex rt i have canon ships with an filter holder and two gels for tungsten and it adjusts for correct white balance. if i buy third party gels and cut them to fit in the adapter, will the flash try to adjust to get correct wb or do i have to attach the gels to the face of the flash using rubber bands (ROUGE FILTER KIT) to get the color of the gel you want for special effects ? thanks for any info on this bill

hi all it's time to retire my old clunker lap top. looking to purchase a new one to process pics. i know large ram is necessary, memory, i'm thinking i7 processer not sure if i need an i7 or i5 will do, any special graphics card needed or brand or software? i don't want to go and buy something that a salesman pushes because he needs to fill his quota or more commission for him. any suggestions of what or where to buy, or where to look for info i need to build or buy as a package thanks everyone for the help.

Hi all thanks drip dry never thought of the reduced voltage. Lithonia has a recharge able 6volt 4500 mAh ni-mh batt , ? do I be daring and try to experiment making a rig and risk frying my flashes 😭😱 probably NOT! thanks for the replys favoring the packs for double a batteries which that seems the way I'll go 😀 again thanks

Hi all happy new year! I own the eneloop 1900 mAh ni-mh double a batteries for my two canon 600 ex rt flashes.after about 20 bounce flashes the large power consumption the flash uses, I noticed a much longer recycle time as the flash count goes up. Now I just saw eneloop has 2550 mAh batteries just wondering does the extra 600 mAh in these pro batteries help with recycle time for more high power drain with flash in bounce mode ? Does anyone have this combination for a comparison ? Thanks Bill

I called canon today, they know of no issues with the camera lens combo and new 85 mm lens they said it could be a bad sector in mem card they said try to clean contact's and try firmware update other than that they took my phone # as a record if I still have issues let them know
